Alberto Naretto
Alberto Naretto is a temporary research officer in the Social Policies unit, contributing to research and analysis on the twin green and digital transition and its implications for the European labour market, with a particular focus on skills demand, supply and mismatches. His work includes integrating and harmonising EU-level datasets and developing composite indicators to analyse labour market dynamics and skills transitions. Prior to this role, he worked on regional disparities and convergence across EU Member States, as well as on poverty and social inclusion among children within the framework of the European Child Guarantee. Previously, he worked at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in the Directorate for Education and Skills, supporting the development of Education at a Glance 2025. Alberto completed a double-degree Master’s in Public Policy, specialising in Social Protection Policy, at Maastricht University and the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT).
