Mariana Velho

Mariana Velho is a Digital Content Publisher in the Information and Communication unit at Eurofound, having joined the Agency in 2026. Previously, she worked with CERN openlab, CERN's (European Organization for Nuclear Research) public-private partnership programme, where she served as Communications, Education and Outreach Manager. In this role, she managed the programme's digital presence, editorial strategy, social media, visual content, and stakeholder communications with high-profile industry partners. Prior to CERN openlab, she worked as a Communication and Design Consultant and held science communication and digital content roles at the ATLAS Experiment at CERN, the Technological University of Dublin, and Microsoft Dream Space, with a focus on public engagement and outreach. Mariana holds a MSc in Psychology and a PgCert in Science Communication from the University of Minho, Portugal.
